H.265 - Codec: Deblocking Settings

The deblocking filter reduces blocking artifacts through adjustable strength and threshold. Selective SAO and the Sample Adaptive Offset (SAO) options allow for additional corrections to edges and surfaces. Additional options control how SAO interacts with the deblocking filter or whether SAO's effect is limited.

Limit Sample Adaptive Offset

Limit SAO filter computation by early terminating SAO process based on inter prediction mode, CTU spatial-domain correlations, and relations between luma and chroma.
